The following is our activity plan for the fun club. Is shows only the main activities for each day, other activities will be available in conjunction with those shown.

 The activities are subject to change and we do not guarantee we will do the activity shown on that particular day. Unforeseen circumstances such as weather may impact on the activities we do.

Monday 11th August

Peg Dollies
Making clothes and dressing peg dolls

Textured Sand Painting
Exploring textures and colours

 

Finger painting
Using hands to explore colour and create pictures

Meet the animals
Stroking, grooming and feeding a variety of animals helping with confidence and self esteem

 

Tuesday 12th August

Sand play
Shapes, volumes, sand castles

Collage
Selecting from a wide variety of materials, encouraging children to use imagination to produce a finished picture

 

Chalk pictures
Free expression on black paper and the pavement with chalk

Foot painting
Using feet to create a large picture, exploring colour and comparison of foot print sizes

 

Wednesday 13th August

Pond dipping
Exploration of water life, examination and identification with magnifying glass

Obstacle course
Various large pieces of equipment to be used in a variety of manners

 

Face painting
A chance to select a favoured animal or person and become them, role play*

Necklaces and Bangles
Decoration and threading of pasta and beads

 

Thursday 14th August

Balloon faces
Observing faces and recreating them using imagination

Jigsaws
Playing with a variety of different jigsaws with the chance to make their own

 

Painting
Expressing themselves through a variety of painting techniques

Cooking- rice crispy cakes
Weighing and measuring to produce tasty cakes

 

Friday 15th August

Outing to the park
Energetic games and a chance to use play equipment

Paddling pool and water play
Lots of fun, children will need towels and swimming clothes

Plants and pots
Children will decorate pots and plant a seedling to nurture at home

 

*Children with allergies could have hands painted or make a mask
